PETROLEUM – FOSSIL FUEL
Earth has a great system for cleansing itself of impurities such as carbon dioxide.
Many realize the importance of the oceans to this system, but are not aware that,
after the oceans, trees are the earth’s largest cleansers.
DEFORESTATION
The problem is we are destroying this system in two major ways; not only are we tasking the system by over-polluting, we are also sabotaging it through deforestation and other means.
PRINTING INDUSTRY
The industry that is most contributing to deforestation is the printing industry. It is also the third largest consumer of fossil fuels in the world.
In today’s world, we are all directly or indirectly a part of
the printing industry. We all need to change.
